The next starts 2027, on the 2nd of April with focus Poland! 

The EAAW is the outcome of the already 2001 started VAAL - Vienna Animal Advocacy Lecture by the FEWD at the University of Vienna, see https://www.fewd.at/aa/vaal/history

The EAAW is now established with the main partnership of the CLPAN, the Centre for Legal Protection of Animals & Nature at Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, see https://prawozwierzat.wpia.uw.edu.pl/en/news/

The EEAW is a special transnational project of the multi- and interdisciplinary FEWD animal advocacy research area.  Which is online at https://www.fewd.at/aa/  and reachable via the easy memorable URL www.animal-advocacy.eu  
The FEWD as coordinator was 2002 established at the philosophy department at University of Vienna, see https://www.fewd.at/about 

The EAAL lecture serial will be under the patronage of the Austrian and the Vienna governmental representative for animal welfare. And hopefully additionally the office of the mayor of Vienna. Official academic cooperation partners here in Vienna are researchers from different universities and from the field of law, humanities and social sciences. Especially to mention the different cooperations with members from Slavistics and philosophy department.

The first EAAW will expectantly start in Vienna around easter 2027. And Poland will be the first focus. And main partners will be 

Additionally, we hope to cooperate in different form with the Polish cultural institute in Vienna

And in a few years the EEAW will be supported of the developing LRKF - Lengauer Rupert und Karoline Foundation!
