The multi- and interdisciplinary FEWD – see www.fewd.at/about  supports since his founding in 2001 at the philosophy department of the University of Vienna especially research fellowships related to the FEWD focus of animal advocacy. This FEWD area is easily reachable via www.animal-advocacy.eu online at www.fewd.at/aa  

These research fellowships have been mainly related to the also 2001 started Vienna Animal Advocacy Lecture, see www.fewd.at/aa/vaal/history

For spring 2027 the next research fellowships will be hold by Prof. Cezary Błaszczyk from the CLPAN -  Centre for Legal Protection of Animals & Nature at Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, https://prawozwierzat.wpia.uw.edu.pl/en/general-information/ 

His research will be embedded in the first European Animal Advocacy Lecture – EAAL at University of Vienna, see www.fewd.at/eaal Starting also in spring 2027. The EAAL is the new continuation of the VAAL. And is initiated in close cooperation with the CPLAN.

Additionally, there will be around easter 2027 at University of Vienna a related research workshop with focus on Poland. Realized also in cooperation with CPLAN.
